San Antonio’s Animal Care Services hides many of the comments people leave on its Facebook posts. Although the agency does not appear to have any formal policy banning certain opinions, many of the comments it hides are critical of the agency’s euthanasia policy.
On September 11, FIRE wrote to the agency’s interim director explaining that the government cannot censor people’s comments based on viewpoint.
