Liz Peek
Liz Peek is a columnist for The Hill, Fox News and the New York Sun. She is also an on-air Fox News Contributor,
participating daily in numerous Fox Business programs including Varney & Company, Mornings with Maria and the
Larry Kudlow Show.
Liz has been a columnist for The Fiscal Times, an online bipartisan policy journal funded by Pete Peterson, and also the New York Sun, while also contributing to the New York Post, the Huffington Post, The Motley Fool, the Wall Street Journal and Women on the Web, as well as to numerous magazines.
Liz received her BA with High Honors in Economics from Wellesley College, where she was a Durant Scholar. For more than twenty years on Wall Street she worked as a top-ranked energy analyst and executive, eventually becoming Wertheim & Company’s first female partner. After retiring from the financial industry to focus on her family, she became involved in numerous not-for-profit organizations.
Liz is a member and past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FIT, a SUNY college; other non-profit roles include formerly serving as President of the Board of Partnership with Children, a social services agency, and on the executive committees of the boards of The School of American Ballet and the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy.
She is a life-long tennis player, mediocre golfer, has three children, two grandchildren and is married to financial services senior executive Jeffrey Peek.
