Jack Cordano Povilaitis

Jack Cordano Povilaitis graduated from Oberlin College in 2023 with a B.A. in Law & Society. While at Oberlin, Jack participated in the Law and Justice Scholar program and was a Podis Fellow in Writing Pedagogy. His extracurricular activities included commentating the Oberlin Soccer matches and captaining his club ultimate frisbee team. After graduating, Jack volunteered in Warsaw, Poland with Fundacja Rozwoju Dzieci. He spent 14 months working on the development and implementation of the SPYNKA program, a response to the mass influx of Ukrainian refugee children and their mothers into Poland as a result of Russia’s 2022 invasion of neighboring Ukraine.

In his free time, Jack enjoys woodworking, exercising, and reading whatever book comes across his desk. He is heavily invested in FIRE’s mission and very passionate about improving and expanding our student programs.
