Angela Erickson
Angela is the vice president of Research at FIRE, where she defends and
promotes free speech with evidence-based research. Angela previously built a
research team at Pacific Legal Foundation and worked on the research team
at the Institute for Justice. Her research has been cited in major news outlets
including Good Morning America, The Wall Street Journal, and the Washington
Post, in briefs, by Justice Clarence Thomas, on the floors of Congress and state
legislatures, and by presidential administrations.
Angela lives in Kentucky with her mellifluous husband and their three
children. She earned a master’s degree in public policy from the University of
Chicago and her undergraduate degree from Beloit College.
