Free Speech Forum
Join the next generation of free speech leaders at FIRE's Free Speech Forum
FIRE’s Free Speech Forum will provide a best-in-class civics education for students across the United States. The program includes a robust curriculum led by legal experts, dynamic skill-building activities, and hands-on projects. Students will leave the forum equipped to advocate for free speech in their communities and on campuses when they get to college.
The forum is a free, week-long summer program for college-bound rising 10th through 12th graders interested in free speech.
Students will gain a thorough understanding of free speech: What it is, why it’s important, and how it empowers all of us to solve real-world problems and achieve our full potential. The forum will strike the perfect balance of academic rigor, immersive activities, leadership-building, and fun. Through a shared interest in free speech and learning, students will make lifelong memories with new friends.
