The rights guaranteed by the First Amendment, including the right to free speech, free expression, free exercise of religion, and the right to assemble peaceably are of the utmost importance, and the University System of Georgia (USG) is committed to protecting those rights. In accordance with the First Amendment of the Constitution, Forming Open and Robust University Minds (FORUM) Act O.C.G.A § 20-3-4,8, and the Board of Regents Policy 6.5 Freedom of Expression.
The University of West Georgia ("UWG or the University") places great importance on First Amendment guarantees of freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and the right to assemble peaceably.
