The University shall provide reasonable space for the posting of non-commercial signs, notices, posters, and banners by members of the University community. Subject to the limitations on unlawful/unprotected speech and to clearly stated, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory rules regarding time, place, and manner. Members of the University community may post non-commercial signs, notices, and posters on designated bulletin boards maintained by the University located in each of the campus residence halls, by each of the apartment mailboxes, and the vestibule of the main entrance of the Allen Chapman Student Union; however, they may not be posted on bulletin boards maintained by academic and administrative departments of the University or in classrooms. For all other locations, posters and signs must be approved and stamped by the campus services office or the department assistant at the front desk in the designated area before posting. Posters or signs that are not approved will be removed. Approval or denial of materials will be given based on content- and viewpoint-neutral standards.
