On the day after the 2016 presidential election, two Babson College students drove around Wellesley College’s campus waving a “Trump” flag and shouting slogans associated with Donald Trump’s campaign. Both were charged with harassment and disorderly conduct under Babson’s student conduct rules, which promise to uphold students’ freedom of speech. Following a hearing, Babson found the students not responsible for harassment or disorderly conduct.
