Announcing FIRE’s Spring Regional Workshop!
We are excited to announce the first-ever FIRE Spring Regional Workshop, to take place at Yale University on Saturday, March 21, 2015.
This special one-day event will offer students a crash course on their right to free speech. Attendees will learn about the history of free speech in higher education and the contemporary struggle against speech codes. FIRE staff will work with students to develop winning strategies for protecting freedom of expression on campus and ensuring that no student is silenced.
Attendees will be treated to three meals throughout the day and will have the chance to kick back with staff and other participants at the post-workshop social.
If you have been the victim of administrative censorship or overbearing bureaucracy and you’re looking for a way to fight back, here’s your chance to learn how. Apply to attend on the workshop webpage.
