The following violations indicate categories of conduct or activity which will violate the Code. ... Harassment or intimidation of another person. ... Harassment or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation,
including transgender status or gender expression, national origin or citizenship status,
age, disability, genetic information or veterans status.

Red light: Student Handbook: Sexual Harassment and Consenting Relationships 12-13

Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome sexual attention. It can be a repeated behavior or could be one serious incident. It may take the form of sexual jokes or teasing, sexually demeaning remarks, pressure for dates or sex, deliberate touching, pinching, cornering, attempts to fondle or kiss, and requests for sex in exchange for grades, salary raises, or promotions.

Red light: Residence Hall Guide: Physical Violence or Harassment 12-13

Harassment is a form of violence that can result in the intimidation of another student. Even if the harassment is unintentional (e.g., an off-hand comment or joke) it still occurs and will not be tolerated. Harassment is the violation of another's rights; it could be related to sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, personal habits, or even to someone's physique. It can be communicated by actions or in a verbal or written form. The right not to be harassed shall be guarded by the staff and should be honored by all students.

Yellow light: Residence Hall Guide: Hallways as 'Public Domain' 12-13

[T]he door to the room is also considered "public domain" and MAY NOT BE DECORATED ON THE HALL SIDE with any kind of picture or sign except a standard size message board approved by the Resident Director. Any photos, signs, drawings, advertising, pictures, etcetera, that have not been preapproved by the Resident Director will be removed by the maintenance or residence life staff. Note: This policy is not a violation of public right to free speech; it is an authorized and approved method of preventing unsightly and offensive materials in public places.
