Sexual harassment is any unwelcome attention of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment or interferes with educational or work performance.

Students shall not interfere with, disturb or obstruct any other student or staff member of the University by means of noise, abusive language or any other nuisance.

Acts of discrimination, harassment and insensitivity hurt and degrade all members of the campus community. Every member of the campus community is responsible for creating and maintaining a climate free of discriminatory harassment. Actions and/or communication that are discriminatory or harassing are not permitted.

All materials posted in the residence halls must have the sponsoring department, student organization, college or individual and contact information clearly and accurately displayed. Members of the university community need to take responsibility for their expressions; anonymous information exchanges are contrary to the open sharing of public communication.

Users of any electronic communications shall not send or post messages that are libelous, patently offensive, or that intimidate, threaten, demean or harass individuals or groups, or that would otherwise bring discredit to the university.
