Green light: Student Code of Conduct 12-13

Harassment or Retaliation -- Conduct which creates an intimidating, hostile, offensive working or educational environment, or harassment of a Complainant or other person alleging misconduct, including, but not limited to intimidation and threats.

Yellow light: Student Code of Conduct 12-13

Sexual harassment is conduct of a sexual nature or with sexual implications, which interferes with a person’s status or performance by creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive educational or working environment. This conduct may include, but is not limited to the following: inappropriate and unwanted touching; the display of sexually explicit or suggestive materials; use of sexually explicit or suggestive language or gestures; and subtle pressure for sexual activity, as well as demands for sexual favors or physical assault.

Red light: Regulations Manual: Discrimination/Harassment 12-13

Discrimination/harassment includes display or circulation of written or electronic materials or
pictures degrading to either gender or to racial, ethnic, religious groups or any other protected
characteristic under the law; and verbal abuse or insults directed at or made in the presence of
members of a racial, ethnic, minority group or other protected characteristic under the law.
Examples of prohibited conduct include, but are not limited to:
(a) Displaying or telling of sexually oriented or discriminatory jokes, statements, photographs,
drawings, computer images, web sites, videos, slides, graphics, calendars, cartoons, e-mails or
other communications.
