Sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and
other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when: ... Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's
work or academic performance; or
Such conduct has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive
work or academic environment.
which a reasonable person/woman under the circumstances would consider to be:
condescending or disparaging comments about a person's gender obscene sexual gestures
the display of offensive sexual materials, including graffiti
unwelcome deliberate contact, including but not limited to brushing against, hugging,
patting, pinching, touching, or holding an individual sexual teasing, jokes, remarks,
questions, or comments turning discussions to sexual topics letters, telephone calls, or
materials of a sexual nature.

reasonable person/woman under the circumstances would consider to:
be condescending or disparaging comments about a person's sexual
orientation/preference, race, national origin, ethnicity, or religion display offensive
materials, including graffiti
preference/orientation includes any ethnic, racial, or sexual slurs and other verbal or
physical conduct relating to an individual's national origin, ethnicity, race, sexual
preference/orientation when: ... Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's
work or academic performance; or
Such conduct has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive
work; or academic environment.
Such conduct adversely affects an individual's employment or academic standing.
