Yellow light: Student Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Policy 09-10

[T]he following misconduct, on college premises or off the premises at college-sponsored activities, is subject to disciplinary action:

1. Physical, psychological, or verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, harassment, coercion and/or conduct, which threatens or endangers the health or safety of any person ....

Red light: Sexual and Other Unlawful Harassment Policy 09-10

Examples of sexual conduct prohibited by this policy include the following:
* sexual flirtations or comments
* touching of a sexual nature
* graffiti of a sexual nature
* displaying or distributing of sexually explicit objects, pictures, and written materials
* sexual gestures
* sexual or "dirty" jokes
* talking about one's sexual activity in front of others ....
Sexual harassment involving a student includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when ... the conduct is sufficiently severe, persistent, or pervasive to limit the student's ability to participate in or benefit from an education program or activity or to create a intimidating, threatening, or abusive educational environment.

Yellow light: Sexual and Other Unlawful Harassment Policy 09-10

Other unlawful harassment involving an employee or student may consist of verbal or physical conduct that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward an individual because of his or her race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, or other legally protected status, or that of his or her relatives, friends, or associates, and has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive working or educational environment; has the purpose or effect of interfering unreasonably with an individual's work or academic performance; or otherwise adversely affects an individual's employment or educational opportunities.
