Harassment, defined as any physical force, violence, threat, intimidation, stalking, or
other behavior that interferes with an individual’s personal safety, academic efforts,
employment, or participation in University-sponsored activities, is strictly prohibited.

Yellow light: Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy 12-13

Sexual harassment is also defined as student-to-student or student-initiated deliberate, unsolicited, and unwelcomed verbal and/or physical conduct of a sexual nature, or with sexual implications. Unwelcomed sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature shall constitute sexual harassment when: ... Such conduct has the purpose or effect of substantially interfering with an individual's academic performance or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive academic environment.

If residents decorate their room windows, they should give consideration to the uniqueness of the University and the diverse population it serves. The Residential Life staff will contact residents regarding inappropriate or potentially offensive objects and decorations in the windows when such decorations are observed.
