Student Handbook: Student Code of Conduct - Harassment 10-11

Harassment shall mean any act so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive that it effectively
bars the victim's access to an educational opportunity or benefit or alters the conditions of
the victim's employment and creates an abusive working environment. In determining whether
alleged conduct constitutes harassment as defined in this policy, the record as a whole will be
considered as well as the context in which the conduct occurred. Facts will be judged on the
basis of what is reasonable to persons of ordinary sensitivity and not on the particular susceptibility
of an individual, unless that susceptibility is known to the alleged harasser.
