FIRE on the Road: Greg Visiting Whitworth University

FIRE President Greg Lukianoff is on the road this week at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. There, Professor Gordon S. Jackson is hosting Greg for two packed days of lectures, meetings, and media events. This morning Greg will be interviewed by John Vlahovich of KPBX Spokane Public Radio and this evening he will be delivering a lecture entitled “The First Amendment, The Private Campus, and You” at 7:00 pm in the Robinson Teaching Theatre, Weyerhaeuser Hall, Whitworth University. The event is free and open to the public. Tomorrow, Greg will be staying at Whitworth to meet with students, present to classes, and speak with senior administrators.
 
FIRE is always excited at the prospect of sending staff members out to speak on college campuses. It provides not only an opportunity for FIRE to spread its message, but it also provides hosting students and faculty an excellent educational opportunity.
