The new documentary Indoctrinate U
is director Evan Coyne Maloney’s effort to refute the notion that campus bias is confined to a few unrelated anecdotes. As I mentioned
over at the Torch
the other day, National Review
’s Stanley Kurtz gives a thorough and positive review
of the film. Several FIRE cases are featured prominently in the film, including FIRE's case
at California Polytechnic State University
, where student Steve Hinkle was tried and punished by a campus tribunal for posting a flyer in the campus Multicultural Center for a speech hosted by the College Republicans.
The film also includes insightful commentary from FIRE President Greg Lukianoff, who discusses free speech violations on campus.
