One of the amazing cases Greg Lukianoff covered in his book Unlearning Liberty is that of Valdosta State, where the university president went on a vendetta against a student who dared to criticize him. That case was just concluded with a victory for the student and a crushing defeat for the high-handed president. Cato’s Ilya Shapiro writes about it here.
Let’s hope that this has a chilling effect on college administrators everywhere. Act like a little tyrant and you may pay for it.
