FIRE's Summer Internship Program

FIRE offers an eight-week, paid Summer Internship Program as part of our efforts to educate students about individual rights at colleges and universities. This internship gives current undergraduates the opportunity to assist FIRE in defending civil liberties on campuses all across the country.

Research Assistant: Higher Education Reform

FIRE is seeking an energetic Research Assistant to engage in in-depth research and writing on the topic of higher education reform. The main research project for this position will be to read books, both popular and scholarly, and reports that have come out over the last several years and then write thorough and concise executive summaries that will be used for internal purposes. The final project will be to help FIRE identify trends and useful information in the growing literature on what is wrong in higher education and how to fix it.
